The Bible has several different versions in more than 2,000 languages, and is the most read book in the world. Now, in the e-book “The Bible in 1000 Pictures”, there is the presentation of as yet unpublished pictures inspired by passages from the Bible, from the Book of Genesis through to the Book of Revelation, executed by the Brazilian painter, Carlos Araújo. This is the spiritual recovery of a project developed over a period of 30 years.
This immense “Cathedral of Pictures” invites us to indulge in serene meditation towards the understanding of the Word of God and also, through “the eyes, the windows of the soul”, gives us the opportunity to envisage a path of peace and unity between the peoples of this world in this new millennium.
